Creation Museum Zip Lines Open June 20
New Feature is both Fun and Educational, Highlighting Museum’s Flora and Fauna
The Creation Museum will add a new feature this month, incorporating 20 zip lines and sky bridges soaring over the lake and tree canopy in the woods and hills of the museum’s grounds. There will be some nature teaching from the trails along the course, identifying tree species and other flora as well as fauna, making it an educational addition to the popular family attraction.
Beginning June 20. Regular museum hours are:
Mon-Fri.: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sat.: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sun.: Noon – 6 p.m.
Petersburg, KY 41080
(exit 11 off I-275; seven miles west of the Cincinnati Airport)
The Creation Museum recently celebrated its sixth anniversary by adding other new attractions including an Insectorium, an exhibit on the topic of dragons as dinosaurs, and an addition to the Verbum Domini Bible scrolls display. The museum, which is an outreach of the apologetics organization of Answers in Genesis (AiG), has hosted 1.8 million visitors to-date. The AnswersInGenesis.org website has been voted “Best Ministry Website” two times, as determined by the National Religious Broadcasters (the site attracts over 1 million web visitors a month). Its “Answers” magazine has twice picked up the highest award for magazine excellence by the Evangelical Press Association. AiG will soon be building a full-size Noah’s Ark; see www.ArkEncounter.com. The museum site is www.CreationMuseum.org.
