Locals Invited to Attend Adventure Weekend Community Event Sept. 12-15
Little Flock Church family event to feature nationally known speaker and outdoorsman Jay Lowder
|WHAT:||The Adventure Weekend is open to the community and will offer events for the all ages, including an outdoor family expo and a community worship service. Individual events will be held throughout the weekend, including a student night, women’s dinner and outdoorsman dinner for men.

|WHO:||Jay Lowder, founder of Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries. Lowder is a full-time evangelist who for the last 20-plus years has spoken around the world on issues relevant to life challenges and finding hope through Jesus. He is also author of “Midnight in Aisle 7.”
Rebecca Nichols Alonzo, author of the New York Times best-selling book, “The Devil in Pew Number Seven,” which chronicles her personal story of witnessing her parent’s murder at the age of 10 and the subsequent journey that followed. Alonzo is a dynamic speaker on betrayal and the power of forgiveness.
Hank Hough, founder of Kingdom Dog Ministries, non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through the unique use of his Labrador Retrievers.
|DETAILS:||Thursday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. – Xtreme Student Night is for students in 6th through 12th grades and will feature music from a local band, free food, games and prizes, as well as a message from Jay Lowder.
Friday, Sept. 13 at 6:30 p.m. – Women’s Dinner is a ticketed event and will feature Rebecca Nichols Alonzo, author of “The Devil in Pew Seven.”
Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Outdoor Family Expo, in the church parking lot, is a free outdoor event for the entire family, including jumpies, car show, pony rides, petting zoo, food, health fair & vendor booths. World-renowned hunting dog trainer Hank Hough of Kingdom Dog Ministries will also teach valuable life lessons during shows with his AKC-registered Labrador Retrievers.
Saturday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. – Outdoorsman Dinner is a ticketed event for men including special guest Jay Lowder, who will share moral lessons he has learned through years of hunting and fishing.
Sunday, Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. – Celebration of Hope, is a worship service that will take place at the church, and will be led by Jay Lowder. There is no charge for admission.

Jay Lowder will also speak in area public schools on Sept. 12, sharing his personal story of alcohol abuse and suicidal thoughts while encouraging students to make wise decisions in the crossroads of life.
