“I’ve had the privilege to serve with Jim the last few years, and I have always been impressed with his business acumen and his spiritual depth,” said J. Jarrell Prince, chairman of the e3 Partners Board of Directors. “His management skills, spiritual maturity, life experiences, missiology, and heart for the lost are just extraordinary. e3 is very fortunate to have Jim as a part of this ministry to lead it into a new season.”

Shannon brings extensive experience from his more than two-decade seasoned career in healthcare. Prior to joining e3 Partners in May of 2018, most recently, Shannon served as Executive Vice President, Acquisition and Development, among other roles, at both LHP Hospital Group, Inc., and Triad Hospitals, Inc., in Plano, Texas. He also held positions at Columbia/HCA, Doctors Regional Medical Center, Humana Hospital – Audubon and Humana Hospital - St. Luke’s.

He has a Bachelor’s of Science in finance from Liberty University and attended the Oxford Study Centre in Oxford, England. In addition to serving as a deacon, Bible teacher, finance committee member, and missions coordinator at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Shannon has also volunteered with #NoPlaceLeft International Coalition in Dallas-Fort Worth for the last four years. He and his wife Sharon have been married 31 years and have four children.

"I believe that Jim was sent to e3 to shepherd the ministry’s significant contribution to the next great movement of God in our lifetime,” said Darrell Bevelhymer, current Interim CEO and Board Member. “The Church's growth over the next decade will be something like the world has never seen, and e3 has been called to be a part of it. The leadership team that Jim will lead is only something that God could have put together with its complimentary gifts and experiences. As a fellow Christian and board member, it is going to be exciting to watch."

In his new role as CEO, Shannon will lead e3 Partners’ efforts in accomplishing its mission to make the local church accessible to everyone, everywhere.

“I believe that we live in a unique moment in history where God is moving in an unprecedented way around the world,” said Shannon. “Having the opportunity to serve those who have surrendered everything for the advance of the gospel is an incredible privilege. I consider this opportunity the highest honor of my professional life."
