Chosen People Ministries and Moody Bible Institute to Host Summit on Opposing Antisemitism
New York, NY, Oct. 8, 2024 – Chosen People Ministries, in partnership with Moody Bible Institute, is pleased to announce the upcoming Summit on Opposing Antisemitism. This landmark event, aimed at addressing the growing resurgence of antisemitism in today's world, will take place on November 9, 2024, at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois.
The summit will bring together Christian leaders, scholars, and Jewish believers in Jesus to explore effective strategies for combating antisemitism and helping a new generation understand this pernicious 21st century expression of the “oldest hatred”. The event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and workshops designed to equip attendees with practical tools and insights.
"We believe it is vital for the Christian community to stand against antisemitism and for followers of Jesus the Messiah to work toward eradicating the hatred of God’s chosen people," said Dr. Mitch Glaser, President of Chosen People Ministries. "The sponsorship by Moody Bible Institute of this summit reflects the historic commitment of the Moody Bible Institute; first to standing with the Jewish community against hatred, and secondly to sharing the love of God with Jewish friends and neighbors in both word and deed.”
Highlights of the summit will include:
● Plenary Speakers: Renowned experts, including Dr. Mitch Glaser, President of Chosen People Ministries, Dr. Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute, Dr. Donald Sweeting, Chancellor and past President of Colorado Christian University, and Dr. Michael Rydelnik, Vice President/Academic Dean and Professor of Jewish Studies and Bible at Moody Bible Institute, will discuss the dynamics of antisemitism from historical and theological perspectives, address how the October 7, 2023, events are impacting the troubling resurgence of 21st-century antisemitism, and suggest ways the Christian community can actively oppose this growing expression of hatred.
