EEM’s Tamika Rybinski Shares Powerful Story of Faith and Resilience on EEM’s 55:11 Podcast
FORT WORTH, Texas, April 2, 2025 – The 55:11 Podcast, names for Isaiah 55:11 regarding the impact of God’s Word, has launched its latest episode this week, featuring a moving testimony of faith, healing and perseverance featuring guest Tamika Rybinski, a writer, graphic artist and missionary based in Vienna, Austria, working with EEM. Hosted by EEM Marketing Director Brook Kehl, the episode titled "When Life Breaks You, But God Restores You – A Story of Redemption with Tamika Rybinski," will encourage any listener who has faced or is enduring difficult circumstances.
Tamika Rybinski’s journey has been marked by immense challenges—including surviving a life-altering car accident, battling cancer and overcoming a stroke. Yet, through every hardship, she has experienced God’s unwavering presence and faithfulness. Now, she dedicates her creativity and passion in ministry, working with EEM to bring God’s Word to families across Eastern Europe through beautifully designed books and resources.
“I feel very blessed to bear witness to all of the different ways that God interacts with people...and all the different ways that the little things that I'm doing—even with the book cover for the Bible, the special Bible for the war in Ukraine—have an impact,” shares Rybinski.
As the war between Ukraine and Russia continues, it’s those in Eastern European ministry like Tamika and her husband Bart who stand as firsthand witnesses to the hope that God’s Word is bringing to this region of the world amid this challenging time.
She continues, “That’s been really meaningful for me...to know that I feel so helpless with everything that has to do with [the] war, but when we see reports and [pictures of] people holding that Bible, I think, 'I had a little bit to do with this smile that’s in that picture.'"
In this heartfelt discussion, Tamika reflects on:
How a devastating accident led her to a deeper relationship with God
Her battle with cancer and how faith sustained her through the trials
Meeting her husband Bart before he was EEM’s Vice President of European Operations
The intersection of creativity and ministry—designing book covers and Scripture-based coloring books that introduce families to God’s Word
The power of small acts of obedience in fulfilling God’s greater plan.
"You realize how far and wide [the Bible is] going,” concludes Rybinski. “And it’s not that we’re doing it. God said, ‘My word will not return to me empty.’ Well, that means it's on the move; that means it's going places.”
