ABOUT THE FILM

The Lightly family struggles with a rebellious son, a selfish adopted daughter, an over-worked mother, and out-of-work father. When they leave for a mountain park to decompress and try to rebuild their once joyful family, tragedy strikes and the Lightly's begin a fight for survival that challenges everything they know about themselves and their beliefs.

Hindered by their mistakes, uncontrollable natural obstacles and mysterious strangers moving contraband through the mountains, the Lightly's soon find themselves separated from each other and alone. Afraid and faced with relentless hardships, inexplicable forces keep pushing them deeper and deeper into the treacherous wilderness.

As time is running out, a massive rescue operation is launched. But with no hope and the final reserves of strength spent, the family turns to faith for deliverance. As their hopeless situation begins to turn around, they discover the powerful forces driving them have been locked in conflict over their lives . . . and the survival of a teen girl they have never met. In the film’s thrilling conclusion, the Lightly’s learn the power of a family led by Jesus Christ and experience the Miracle on the Precipice!
