Nicole Barron
Content Specialist
Nicole Barron joined ALRC as Content Specialist in February 2022, bringing extensive experience in writing, editing and content strategy for Dallas-area media publications and non-profits.
Before joining ALRC, Nicole served as Editor-in-Chief for Lifestyle Frisco, a digital media platform specializing in local lifestyle content. She led a team of 15 writers and content strategists in the creation of compelling and informative articles that focused on driving business results for clients and engaging the community.
Nicole also spent nine years working for Susan G. Komen for the Cure World Headquarters in Dallas, where she served as a subject-matter expert on the Komen Race for the Cure® Series, the world’s largest series of 5K run/walk events. Nicole provided support and education to the Komen Affiliate Network in the areas of board governance, volunteer management and strategic planning.
As Content Specialist for ALRC, Nicole helps advance clients’ visions and missions through creative, persuasive and effective written materials. Whether drafting a press release, op-ed or other content, she considers it a privilege to dig into each client’s unique “why” and be challenged, encouraged and inspired.
A proud native of North Texas, she studied at Collin College and Midwestern State University before choosing to spend a year serving with a ministry in Bonn, Germany. While tapping away on her ALRC laptop, taxiing her three kids around town, or sorting out life one load at a time in her laundry room, Nicole uses Colossians 3:23 as a reminder that our work is more than just tasks to be completed; it has Kingdom-building potential when we do it with a heart to serve the Lord.
