A Message From Our Founders
A. Larry Ross Communications (ALRC) was founded in 1994 with a mission to provide “values-added P.R.” and give faith messages relevance and meaning in mainstream media. Through God’s providence, protection and provision, today ALRC is the oldest and largest firm providing crossover communications at the intersection of faith and culture.
Over the last three decades, the Agency has represented nearly 2,000 clients, helping increase the influence of ministry and business leaders and the impact of their organizations and institutions to and through the media while affecting public opinion on issues of spirituality and faith. Each month we average 30 to 40 earned media clients, and another 15 to 20 served by our rapidly growing digital department. We remain forever grateful for their confidence in our communications partnerships together.
The ALRC team reflects a wide array of professional backgrounds, united by a biblical worldview and a common mission for God and the Common Good. At our core, we’re a full-service public relations and communications firm. But we view our calling to help global leaders, authors, filmmakers, brands, ministries and other organizations share their stories with the world through legacy and emerging media as a powerful platform to share the message of God’s love and hope in a cultural context.
From strategic consultation in crisis communications and reputation management to thoughtful positioning of clients’ stories through media liaison and book and film launches, our team finds value-added fulfillment in serving as a Kingdom Outpost through professional involvement in ministry and humanitarian efforts.
As the Agency has grown and evolved over the years one thing remains certain: ALRC would not be what or where it is without our dedicated family of current and alumni colleagues representing five generations of communications professionals from seasoned Boomers to creative and enthusiastic Gen Zs.
Service is a key component of our success. We serve our clients because we believe in what they do. We serve the media because we want to help them tell inspiring stories that honor truth and hope, which are often hard to find in today’s news flow.
Most importantly, we are grateful for God’s favor and grace since the Agency’s humble beginnings. We look forward with anticipation to what He will do through us and the clients we serve in the years to come.
