World Outreach Church Kicks off Fall Outdoor Festival and Mini-Concert Series Sept. 24-25

Matthew West, Kari Jobe, Big Daddy Weave among Participating Artists

NASHVILLE, Sept. 16, 2022 – World Outreach Church invites the community to join them for their Fall Outdoor Festival, which begins on Sept. 24th. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the church’s outdoor sanctuary offered a place where thousands of people could gather to worship safely, and it now serves as a fantastic setting for worship festivals. The outdoor sanctuary will be open during all weekend services, and special guest artists will lead worship on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. There will also be free mini-concerts after services on Saturday nights.

Musical guests include:

            Sept. 24/25     Matthew West

            Oct. 1/2           Meredith Andrews

Oct. 8/9           Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes

            Oct. 15/16       Big Daddy Weave

“We’re asking God to bring an awakening to our nation, and we need to do our part. We built this Fall Festival as an easy way to include people beyond our regular congregation in our worship services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we learned the importance of gathering with God’s people in a new way, and we’re creating opportunities for God to do what only He can do,” Pastor Allen Jackson said. “We are honored to have some of our nation’s most gifted musicians here to lead us in worship. It’s a great opportunity to invite family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join you for church in a casual, welcoming setting.”

Beginning Saturday evening, Sept. 24, the church will host four weeks of worship concerts, baptisms, food trucks, outdoor children’s activities, and Biblical messages — all in its beautiful outdoor sanctuary. Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. each Saturday and end with a mini-concert after service. The congregation will move back indoors on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. with guest artists leading worship and a message from Pastor Jackson. Children’s ministry classes will be available for those birth through 6th grade beginning a half-hour before each service. Some seating is provided outdoors, but guests are encouraged to bring their favorite lawn chair or blanket, and are reminded to come early to eat dinner together—food trucks open an hour before services begin.

In addition to its outdoor sanctuary, World Outreach Church has several indoor worship areas of various capacities with video transmission of the outdoor services, so there is ample seating wherever guests feel most comfortable. Sunday morning services will take place indoors, and will be transmitted live to all other sanctuaries, including the outdoor sanctuary.
