PRAY.COM to Sponsor EPA’s 2025 Cause of the Year: Faith & Technology

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19, 2025 – As the No. 1 app for daily prayer and faith-based content, PRAY.COM recently signed on to be the corporate sponsor of the Evangelical Press Association’s 2025 Cause of the Year: Faith & Technology.

To encourage its member publications to tackle certain important subjects, EPA’s annual contest features a Cause of the Year category. The Board of Directors chooses a specific topic and presents awards for the best material published on that subject during that year.

During 2025, publications are asked to address the subject of how technology can be used to advance the gospel. The parameters are purposefully broad and any article that touches on the subject of faith and technology will be eligible for the 2026 contest, along with a related photo or illustration.

EPA is the leading media association for Christian magazines and content-driven digital platforms.

In addition to conducting studies proving that use of the app benefits spiritual growth and mental health, PRAY.COM has also recently begun using AI to accelerate translation of content into multiple languages, helping to spread the Gospel among new and growing audiences. Other AI tools also facilitate the use of content clips to expand ministries’ outreach via social media and other communications channels, similarly furthering the reach of Gospel-centric content.
