Brandon Harvath

Brandon Harvath serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Christian Care Ministry (CCM), the nonprofit 501(c)(3) association of churches that manages Medi-Share.  CCM believes that we should reclaim the biblical mandate to care and provide for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Through CCM's healthcare sharing programs – among others – Christians are able to share each other's everyday burdens, much like the early church did in the book of Acts.

CCM believes Christians should operate at the intersection of faith and sharing, noting the American church doesn’t have a resource issue, but simply needs to do a better job of connecting needs to available resources.

Key Topics Harvath Can Address:

·      Values-aligned spending: We are in a culture war, and as Christian consumers, we have a responsibility to consider how our dollars can be used to further kingdom causes.

·      Church and culture: Today’s church should be intentional about having a practical and significant impact on the culture war, rather than be angry boycotters.

·      The intersection of faith and sharing: Beyond healthcare sharing, there are many other verticals where faith and sharing can intersect.

·      The Early Church’s model of sharing: According to Acts 6, seven wise and compassionate individuals were appointed to serve as deacons, entrusted with the responsibility of connecting needs to resources. This practice, which CCM models, is an important component of the church being the church.
