‘Culture & Christianity’ Conference Set for April 26-27 at World Outreach Church in Nashville

Kaleigh McEnany, Brandon Tatum, Allie B. Stuckey, Kirk Cameron, Eric Metaxas, and More Speak into Leading with Faith

NASHVILLE, Feb. 15, 2024 – Allen Jackson Ministries will host a  “Culture & Christianity” conference at World Outreach Church on April 26-27. Built around the theme “Lead with Faith,” this event is designed to help equip, prepare, and embolden the rising generation of Americans to be voices for God’s Truth, wherever He leads.

“We stand at a crossroads, a pivot point in our nation’s story. The future of America depends on our response today,” Pastor Allen Jackson explains. “God has appointed us to live in this time, in this season, and in this generation. It’s time to boldly and bravely deliver truth, hope, and light into our desperate culture.”

Conference attendees will be reminded of the freedoms and liberties we’re called to protect. They’ll find encouragement, strength, and practical ways they can carry out their purpose and take the truth wherever they go.

“The purpose of this conference is to address issues we’re facing in today’s culture through the lens of God’s Truth,” Pastor Jackson adds. “As people of faith, our belief system and way of life are under attack. We must learn to stand against the status quo, abandon what’s comfortable or easy, and choose to lead with our faith—not just in our homes and churches—but in our communities, workplaces, schools, grocery stores, and gyms.”

The Culture & Christianity Conference includes several sessions where experts will individually speak into the session’s theme. Each session will conclude with the speakers joining together for a discussion guided by Pastor Jackson about how we can lead with our faith in various cultural categories (politics, media, family, etc.). Speakers include:

●      Kaleigh McEnany - Fox News’ ‘Outnumbered’ Co-host, Conservative Commentator and Writer, 33rd White House Press Secretary for Donald Trump

●      Brandon Tatum - ‘The Officer Tatum’ Conservative Commentator, Radio Personality and Author

●      Allie B. Stuckey - ‘Relatable’ Podcast Host, Conservative Commentator and Author

●      Kirk Cameron - American Actor and Evangelist, TBN Television Host of ‘Takeaways with Kirk Cameron’ and Founder of American Campfire Revival

●      Seth Gruber - CEO/Founder of The White Rose Resistance, Podcast Host of ‘UnAborted with Seth Gruber’ and TPUSA Ambassador

●      John DeBerry - Pastor and Former House Member/Tennessee Representative

●      Frank Turek - Award-winning Author, Public Speaker and Podcast Host of ‘I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist’

●      Chad Robichaux - USMC Force Recon Veteran and Mighty Oaks Foundation Founder and President

●      Catherine Austin Fitts - American investment banker and former public official

“Powerful things happen when Christ-followers come together to intentionally worship and grow.” Pastor Jackson said. “Together, let’s ask God to lead us, teach us, grow us, and give us a fresh perspective on how we can bring his light, hope, and truth into our nation today.”

The Culture & Christianity conference will begin on Friday, April 26, at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude on Saturday, April 27 at noon. Guests are invited to stay for the evening’s Spring Festival outdoor concert, featuring a surprise guest artist. Allen Jackson Ministries Launches The Allen Jackson Podcast: Culture & Christianity

New Program Equips Christians to Influence Today's Culture

MURFREESBORO, Tenn., March 20, 2024 — Allen Jackson Ministries is thrilled to announce the launch of The Allen Jackson Podcast: Culture & Christianity. The new podcast, hosted by Pastor Allen Jackson, is rooted in the belief that Christians are called to be salt and light in our culture. Each episode equips listeners with biblical truth about current topics and provides action steps they can take to bring that truth into their communities.

“We are presiding over one of the most precipitous declines of Christian influence in the history of the Church,” Jackson said. “In a few short decades we’ve seen the Ten Commandments taken out of our schools, prayer banished in most public places, and the corporate world increasingly reluctant to come anywhere near a biblical worldview. For the most part, the Church has been strangely silent in the face of those changes. We need to find a different response.”

The Allen Jackson Podcast: Culture & Christianity examines current issues through the lens of a biblical worldview. The goal is to equip listeners to lead with their faith in a world that’s increasingly adversarial toward Christians.

“We are sitting at a crossroads, and we have a choice to make. Will we use our voices to take God’s truth into our culture, or will we capitulate?” Jackson asked. “If God’s judgement comes upon this nation, it will not be because of the depravity of the wicked. It will be because of the indifference of the faithful.”

Each episode explores important topics like the War in Israel, abortion and the sexualization of America, the Southern Border crisis, and more—providing listeners with biblical knowledge, practical wisdom, and encouragement to stand firm in their faith. To date, featured guests on the podcast include:

●      Dr. George Barna, Director of Research at Arizona Christian University’s Culture Research Center

●      Seth Gruber, host of the popular podcast “Unaborted”

●      Chris Mitchell, Middle East Bureau Chief for CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network)

●      Ronny Simon, Israeli historian

Listeners can find new episodes every week on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and wherever else they listen to podcasts.

Spring Outdoor Worship Festival Continues at World Outreach Church

Guest artists include Shane & Shane, Crowder,
Matt Maher and Matthew West

NASHVILLE, April 5, 2024 – Following an unforgettable Easter celebration weekend, World Outreach Church continues its highly anticipated Spring Festival, a series of outdoor worship services featuring special guest artists every weekend in April.

The festival takes place in the church’s outdoor sanctuary each Saturday night in April, and all are welcome. Each evening includes a biblical message from Pastor Allen Jackson, outdoor baptisms, food trucks, activities for kids, and performances by renowned worship artists. The last weekend of the festival coincides with the conclusion of the church’s Culture & Christianity Conference

“We are beyond excited to invite the community to come worship with us this spring,” Pastor Allen Jackson said. “We have a lot of exciting artists coming to lead worship, but we aren’t in the Christian entertainment business. We simply wanted to make a space where thousands of people could come together, be with God’s people, and worship the Lord.”

The following guest artists will lead worship during the Spring Festival:

  • Shane and Shane (April 6-7)

  • Crowder (April 13-14)

  • Matt Maher (April 20-21)

  • Matthew West (April 27-28)

The venue’s large concert space and lawn makes it ideal for visitors to bring their outdoor chairs and blankets, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and worship in the Tennessee spring weather. Each Saturday evening service begins at 6 p.m., with the weekend’s artist performing a mini-concert after church each night. The artist will return to lead worship during the Sunday morning service, which begins at 9:30 a.m. in Three Crosses Sanctuary.

“Come early, and invite a friend,” continues Jackson. “These worship nights are a great opportunity to bring people who might be reluctant to come to church in a more traditional setting. We’re trying to open a door for the gospel in the lives of these people. Everyone is invited, and anyone who comes will be blessed.”

The final concert of the season coincides with the end of the Allen Jackson Ministries’ Culture & Christianity Conference (April 26 & 27), a pivotal event designed to deliver “truth, hope and light into our desperate culture.” Notable speakers include Kayleigh McEnany, Kirk Cameron, Brandon Tatum, Allie B. Stuckey and Eric Metaxas. McEnany and Metaxas will join Pastor Allen on Saturday evening, April 27, for a conversation on leading with faith.

World Outreach Church Kicks Off Spectacular Christmas Line-Up with the Katinas Nov. 30

NASHVILLE, Nov. 29, 2022 – A Christmas concert by the Katinas at World Outreach Church on Wednesday evening, Nov. 30, is just the start of the amazing Christmas events the church has lined up for enjoyment by the community this holiday season.

From the return of the church’s ice rink to multiple concerts, children’s events and special Christmas Eve/Christmas Day services, World Outreach Church (WOC) hopes to help everyone throughout the region celebrate the true reason for the season. Evens include:

  • An evening of music for the whole family on Wednesday, Nov. 30 with the Katinas, who will be leading a free 60-minute Christmas concert in Three Crosses Sanctuary beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is the start of their I Need Jesus Christmas tour.

  • Each winter, the church floods part of its courtyard and converts it into an ice skating rink accommodating 50 guests at a time. For a schedule, a waiver that must be signed in advance, and other details, see https://wochurch.org/event/ice-rink/

  • On Sunday, Dec. 4, the WOC Teen Choir will present its production of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr. live on stage. There will be two showtimes, at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. There will be additional activities for kids starting at 2:00 p.m., including Santa’s workshop, live reindeer, live nativity performances, train rides, food trucks, photo ops and more. Activities end at 5:30 p.m.

  • On Sunday, Dec. 11, celebrate the season with A Christmas Spectacular, a presentation of entertainment and worship for the entire family! There will be two show times, at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The program includes singing, dancing and audience participation along with dynamic performances from World Outreach Worship and The WOC Kids Choir. Food trucks, Carolers, Hot Chocolate and Ice Skating will all be available.

  • WOC is hosting CAIN for a free Christmas concert on Dec. 18 at 6:00 p.m. The band, made up of siblings Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz and Logan Cain, has joined the church for worship as part of the outdoor festival line-up in the past, and World Outreach Church is happy to include them in its 2022 Christmas celebration.

  • The church will host five Christmas Eve Services, so there is plenty of space for families to worship together at the one that works best for them:

    • Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m.

    • Friday, Dec. 23 at 6:00 p.m.

    • Saturday, Dec. 24 at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

  • WOC would like to extend a special invitation to itd Sunday morning service on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, at 9:30 a.m. for celebrating the birth of the King!

“We welcome the community to join us for any and all of our Christmas events as we celebrate the arrival of the baby in Bethlehem who is the Savior of the world,” Pastor Jackson said.  “Christmas should be the most joyous time of the year, and we hope to be a resource to those throughout Middle Tennesee who feel they may not have much to celebrate this year. We want to help them experience the grace that Christmas is all about, which transcends our earthly circumstances that may not always seem very joyful.”

Pastor Allen Jackson Hosts Veterans Day Special ‘Where Honor is Due’ on TBN

NASHVILLE, Nov. 4, 2022 – To recognize the sacrifices made by our nation’s military members to preserve our freedoms, and to encourage others to join him in honoring our veterans, Pastor Allen Jackson will host a TBN Veterans Day special, “Where Honor is Due,”  airing on Friday, Nov. 11, beginning at 8 p.m. eastern.

During the program, Pastor Jackson discusses the sacrifices made by our veterans – past and present – and the need to lift our voices in a chorus of thanks and appreciation for their service. He is joined by special guests:

  • USMC Force Recon Veteran and Mighty Oaks Foundation Founder and President Chad Robichaux

  • JSOC Combat Interpreter Azizullah Aziz

  • Singer and Songwriter John Rich

  • Congressman Mark Green, M.D. (TN-07)

“We wanted to create a program celebrating the good things our United States Military is doing and has done in our world,” Pastor Jackson said.  “It is time to become patriots once again—people of faith who have the courage to say ‘thank you’ to those who have sacrificed for our freedom.”

During the program, Pastor Jackson interviews Robichaux and Aziz about their time serving together in Afghanistan and how Robichaux was able to bring Aziz and his family safely to the U.S. after the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Singer John Rich also joins Pastor Jackson in expressing the need to show appreciation for our veterans before performing his song, “The Good Lord and the Man.” In addition, Pastor Allen talks with Cong. Green – a medical doctor – about the disrespect shown to our current and former military members when it comes to medical care and personal healthcare decisions.

“The courage of those who serve enables the rest of us to live in quiet comfort. They deserve our respect and support,” Pastor Jackson said. “We want to take a few minutes to enlist you and your voice as grateful advocates for our military. Let’s focus on the heroes who have secured our freedoms and encourage others to join us in recognition of their sacrifices.”

More information about “Where Honor is Due” can be found here.  Pastor Jackson’s most recent TBN special, “God Bless America, Again,” aired over Independence Day weekend and is still available for viewing on the TBN website.

“We’re asking God to bring an awakening to our nation, and we need to do our part. It’s a great opportunity to invite family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join you for church in a casual, welcoming setting.”

Beginning Saturday evening, Sept. 24, the church will host four weeks of worship concerts, baptisms, food trucks, outdoor children’s activities, and Biblical messages — all in its beautiful outdoor sanctuary. Pastor Allen Jackson Hosts Independence Day Special, ‘God Bless America, Again,’ on TBN

NASHVILLE, June 27, 2022 – Pastor Allen Jackson has partnered with TBN to host an Independence Day special, “God Bless America, Again.” It will feature multiple special guests who discuss our nation’s heritage and its future.

The show airs July 1 at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. EDT, and includes conversations with Tim Barton, President of Wall Builders; John DeBerry Jr., Senior Advisor to the Governor of Tennessee; and Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin, Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council.

“We’ll celebrate what makes our country remarkable, honor the biblical values that were present in the earliest days of our nation, and pledge our allegiance to Jesus and His principles,” Pastor Jackson said. “We must find the courage to lead with our faith without any apology if we hope to see God bless America again.”

Following an introductory teaching by Pastor Jackson, he and Barton discuss our nation’s heritage of faith and how a biblical worldview provided the foundational concepts for our legal system, educational system and military. They share the belief that the further we depart from this biblical perspective, the more vulnerable our nation becomes.

With DeBerry, Pastor Jackson explores the fact that while the U.S. does not have a perfect past, it should not be reviled. They discuss the folly of apologizing for the same sins; once we’ve repented and accepted forgiveness, we need to move forward in unity.

During the “Faith First” segment, Pastor Jackson and Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Boykin encourage a return to our primary allegiance – Jesus. They contend that our faith should shape our perspective on leadership, government, education and family. Pastor Jackson concludes with some final teaching regarding what must happen in order for God to truly bless America again.

More information about “God Bless America Again,” can be found here.  Pastor Jackson’s most recent TBN special, “Family Matters,” aired over Father’s Day weekend and is still available for viewing on the TBN website.

Pastor Allen Jackson Prepares Readers for ‘Big Trouble Ahead’ in New Book from Thomas Nelson

NASHVILLE, June 8, 2022 – Applying his biblical and prophetic perspective to what’s happening in our current culture and political/social climate, Pastor Allen Jackson has penned a guidebook for Christians to navigate these difficult days. “Big Trouble Ahead: A Real Plan for Flourishing in a Time of Fear and Deception” releases from Thomas Nelson publishers on Aug. 16, and seeks to help readers look ahead with confidence and wisdom, ready to face whatever challenges may arise.

The book has been called a “wake-up call” for the American Church and is endorsed by national talk radio hosts such as Todd Starnes, Larry Elder and Eric Metaxas, and political figures including Gov. Mike Huckabee and Lt. Col. (USA-Ret.) Allen West. Balanced with encouragement and wisdom from Scripture and reminders of God’s faithfulness to those who trust in Him, the book helps believers view the future with hope and expectation, as Gov. Huckabee says, despite the “Big Trouble Ahead.”

“No one with open eyes and listening ears can deny that we still are living through a season of shaking,” Jackson writes. “In this book, we’ll explore together what’s beneath the shaking in our world, and how we can walk into the future with confidence. We can face whatever comes with hopeful expectation because we know how the story ends.”

Jackson lists several examples of the troubles around us – a global pandemic, widespread deception, blatant immorality, unchecked lawlessness, an unstable economy, trampled civil rights and indoctrination of children – as a warning that what’s ahead may be even worse. Yet, he reminds readers, “our future is not secured by the stock market, or the prevailing ideology of the day, or any group of politicians. Our future is anchored by our King and our trust in Him. So, when you see discouraging things happening around you, stop and thank the Lord that His kingdom will endure forever. He is secure, and He has secured the final victory for us.”

Jackson concludes each chapter with either a prayer or a list of questions to think about, encouraging deeper personal application and preparing us for the troubles ahead. He challenges readers to be aware, alert and informed—united with one another and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit—so we can stand firm until the end.

“Big Trouble Ahead” is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be available wherever books are sold beginning Aug. 22. At 240 pages, it retails for $19.99. For more information, visit https://www.thomasnelson.com/9781400217281/big-trouble-ahead/

Allen Jackson Honored with ‘Faith of our Fathers’ Award from Bott Radio Network

NASHVILLE, March 11, 2022 – Pastor Allen Jackson of World Outreach Church was honored with the “Faith of our Fathers” Award, presented every year by Bott Radio Network at the annual National Religious Broadcasters Convention, which wraps up in Nashville today. This award recognizes an individual who exemplifies multi-generational faithfulness to the Word of God in ministry.

“I can only accept this award today because of the work my parents started 50 years ago, when they didn’t know much about following Jesus, but recognized the power of God at work in their lives,” Pastor Allen said.

The Jackson family was living in Missouri when Pastor Allen’s mother, Betty, received a cancer diagnosis and was given six months to live. At the time, the family attended church, but weren’t true followers of Christ.

“Betty and I had both grown up in Christian homes and had attended church all of our lives,” Pastor Allen’s father, George Jackson, said. “We were not only married in the Methodist Church but had further been active there for the first ten years of our married life—even spear-heading the youth ministry. It was only at that pivotal point in 1965, however, that God began to have an impact on our lives. Immediately following the doctor’s prognosis, Betty realized that she did not know where she would spend eternity. In our Sunday School Class, we had been told that there was no Heaven and no Hell. We also learned that there was no such thing as Daniel in the Lion’s Den—it was just a story that never really happened. We were not spiritually prepared for the events that were unfolding.”

On the way to the Mayo Clinic, Betty prayed, “If there is a God, please let me know the truth before I die so that I might tell it to my children.”  After she was examined by five different departments at the Mayo Clinic, the test results were conclusive: The cancer was gone!

“God responded to her prayer of desperation, and he brought a healing event to our whole family, changing the entire course of our lives,” Pastor Allen shared.

The family moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where Pastor Allen’s father, George, began an equine veterinary practice. With their Christian faith playing a new role in their lives, the Jacksons began a Bible study in their home.

“They'd play a cassette tape, then talk about it with a few other hungry souls also searching for bread. It was just about a half a step beyond the blind leading the blind,” Pastor Allen said. “I am so proud of what they accomplished, being willing to be used by God when they were brand new believers themselves. They continue to inspire me today, and I thank God for them and their hearts for the Lord.”

God honored their faithfulness, and the first official World Outreach Church service was held on Easter Sunday, 1980, in a rented meeting space at a hotel in Murfreesboro, with 29 people in attendance.  In 1981, the church purchased 28 acres, and Pastor Allen began serving as senior pastor in 1989. Today, World Outreach Church has grown to 15,000 congregants, and their services are broadcast across the world over television, radio, and the internet. George and Betty, now in their 80s, remain very active in the church, playing a vital role in its prayer ministry and the daily life of the church. They also serve as Directors of Derek Prince Israel and have devoted their lives to helping people find freedom through the power of Jesus Christ.

Recognized by Bott Radio Network for “honoring his parents’ sacrifice and faithfulness by boldly proclaiming the Word of God in this generation,” Pastor Allen is grateful for the acknowledgment of his parents’ vital role in his ministry today.

Allen Jackson Ministries Receives “Radio Program of the Year” Award from National Religious Broadcasters

NASHVILLE, March 8, 2022 – Today, Allen Jackson Ministries received the National Religious Broadcasters’ “Radio Program of the Year” award, presented annually to a program that impacts listeners with compelling, relevant, informative, personable and entertaining information, while also demonstrating an authentic Christian faith.  As senior pastor of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Pastor Jackson’s sermons are heard nationally on TBN television network, Salem Radio Network, Bott Radio Network, American Family Radio Network and many other outlets.

“I am honored that NRB would recognize our program, and we are grateful that so many religious broadcasters are committed to faithfully carrying biblical teaching content on their platforms in this day and age when the Bible is being censored or labeled ‘hate speech’ in many venues,” Pastor Jackson said. “I also need to acknowledge the tremendous work of our media team, as they diligently edit and package multiple sermons per week for radio and television broadcast. This is truly a team effort and I thank them for their dedication and servants’ hearts.”

NRB emphasizes that the award is not based on the size of a program’s reach but on its impact for the Gospel. Programs may compete, regardless of length, frequency of airing, number of markets, number of listeners, or the size of the budget. Winning the award is based on how God has used the program over the last 12 months to make a difference for Christ—whether that be in a small community or across the nation.

“Allen Jackson Ministries has continued to bring faith, hope and trust across America at a time when many churches remained closed,” said Radio Awards Chair and presenter Colleen Dick of WWIP-FM Radio. “The program provided timely biblical insight regarding current issues and scriptural messages highlighting truth.”

New 90-Day Devotional Journal ‘Lessons from Paul’ Available from Pastor Allen Jackson

Provides encouragement for navigating life’s challenges, with a journal format that allows time and space for daily reflection

NASHVILLE, Jan. 25, 2022 – The times we live in are challenging but not unique, when it comes to political and societal upheaval, and Pastor Allen Jackson offers encouragement and wisdom from Paul’s letters in his new 90-day devotional journal, “Lessons from Paul,” available now at www.allenjackson.com.

“Paul was an advocate for Jesus in a season of tremendous turmoil, when it was costly for him to serve in such a role. But he was willing to do so to such an extent that his words still speak to us today,” Jackson explains. “His teachings are a powerful encouragement for us in our current circumstances, and I believe these letters from Paul to the Church of his era also provide great lessons from Paul for the Church of the 21st Century.”

“Lessons from Paul” comes in a high-quality book format, with each day’s entry including a Scripture reading, a devotional application, a suggested prayer, and a writing prompt. This is followed by a blank journal page to provide time and space for personal reflection on the daily lessons.

“In today’s challenging circumstances, it is vitally necessary that we take time to focus daily on God’s Word, which will be a tremendous strength to us in facing each day’s difficulties,” Jackson added.  “We are the 21st Century edition of the book of Acts, and we want to live in a way that honors Jesus, just as Paul did. Instead of pulling away when we encounter hardships, let’s learn to stand courageously with ‘Lessons from Paul.’”

Allen Jackson Ministries is offering the book as a premium through February 4 for a suggested donation of $25.00. It has a hard-back, bound-journal format that is 6 ¾ x 8 ½ inches and 198 pages in length. For more information, visit https://store.allenjackson.com/category/books/lessons-from-paul.

Pastor Allen Jackson to Host TBN Thanksgiving Special on Gratitude, ‘Give Thanks’

NASHVILLE, Nov. 15, 2021 – Pastor Allen Jackson, senior pastor of World Outreach Church in Tennessee, and heard nationally on TBN television network, Salem Radio Network and many other outlets, will host “Give Thanks with Pastor Allen Jackson,” an hour-long television special on TBN, Friday, Nov. 19. The show will be broadcast four times, back-to-back, throughout the evening, beginning at 8 p.m. eastern/5 p.m. pacific.

This is the first TBN prime-time special to be hosted by Pastor Jackson, and he says, “It’s a privilege to join with our friends at TBN in inviting our whole nation to give thanks to God. So much about our nation is worthy of celebrating. I want to invite everyone to join me in expressing our gratitude to God for his great blessings upon us.”

Throughout the hour-long special, Pastor Jackson offers a biblical perspective on the issues our nation struggles against today. Though we may face many difficult circumstances, he reminds the audience that giving thanks is not about how we feel, but about being obedient to God, and that cultivating gratitude comes with a blessing.

“Being thankful and giving public expressions of gratitude is more than just a platitude –It's a commandment in scripture,” Pastor Jackson explains. “It has very little to do with emotion and everything to do with obedience. We can be thankful in even the most difficult times because of who God is—He is a restorer, deliverer, provider and protector. When we set our intentions to give thanks to God, it pushes back on the fear and heaviness, so the darkness doesn’t overwhelm us.”

While Pastor Jackson explores some of the challenges our nation has faced over the past 20 months, he gives the audience reasons to be grateful for our nation and the role our Christian faith has played in establishing its foundations. He reminds viewers that God has given them the opportunity to be His ambassadors to today’s generation and in this holiday season.

“Fighting the good fight of faith requires intentionality, starting in our own hearts, in our own homes, in our own schools, in our own churches and in our own neighborhoods,” Pastor Jackson said. “Our willingness to engage will make a difference. If your circumstances aren’t perfect, give thanks to the Lord anyway. When we do that, we invite God to work in our lives and our situations. Find something in your life for which you can thank God. I don’t want anyone to miss out on the blessings that come from expressing gratitude and thanksgiving.”

New Book ‘God Bless America Again,’ Shares Hope – Outside Politics – for our Nation’s Struggles

Pastor Allen Jackson Enumerates Internal Failures, Calls for Repentance

NASHVILLE, Sept. 17, 2020 – As the nation gears up for another contentious Presidential election – this one in the midst of a global pandemic and ongoing social unrest – Pastor Allen Jackson shares a prophetic perspective on the struggles our nation is facing in his new book “God Bless America Again.”  As a student of history, Jackson especially speaks to the importance of learning from our nation’s heritage.

“It’s true that we’re not a theocracy. It’s equally true that we are tolerant of other faiths. No matter what faith you choose and how you choose to worship, you’re entitled to equal treatment under our law,” Jackson explains. “It’s true that we’re an inclusive society, and we’ll embrace diversity of beliefs and do our best to live with one another respectfully. It’s true that our founders clearly did not want a State Church to be founded so that the government dictated theology. However, we are unmistakably a nation with a Christian heritage.”

Jackson laments that rather than understanding our rights and our duties of citizenship, today’s culture too often encourages moral ambivalence and cynicism, that America represents nothing more than one of many different, equal nations. He disagrees that all nations are morally equivalent.

“Moral clarity does not require an uncritical evaluation of our own history and western ideals. Patriotism is not crude nationalism and injustice isn’t the sin of shortcomings,” Jackson continues. “These things are certainly a part of the American story, and we have to say so. But a fair and serious study of our own history shows that our nation, without a doubt, has been and continues to be a great force for good in the modern world.”

Jackson summarizes our nation’s current struggles, and calls out people of faith:

“There is a sense of futility right now. Beyond the fear, the chaos, the anxiety, the stress, and all the division in our nation, and all the things that we can see that are inappropriate and that need to be addressed and changed; the thing I hear most is a sense of feeling impotent, of powerlessness. What do I do in the face of this? I’m just one person. We’re inundated with messages from the healthcare community and public health officials, the scientific community, the economists, the political scientists, and all the prognosticators and pollsters. It’s like a tsunami of bad news that just washes over us every day, and the thing that is missing in the midst of that, I believe, is the response of the Church.

As a premise throughout the book, Jackson asks: “What would God say to America right now?”

“I think God would talk to us about the casual way we have set aside His moral boundaries, and we’ve chosen our own,” Jackson responds. “I think He would talk about the lack of contentment in our hearts. It’s inconsistent to want leaders at the highest levels of the land to work for righteousness when we’re not willing to stand for it in our sphere of influence.”

“God Bless America Again” is available to preorder now on Amazon, retailing for $17.99, with a release date of October 1st.

This new National Day of Prayer emphasis follows World Outreach Church’s monthly day of prayer and fasting, held on the tenth of every month, for the state and the nation. Last October, Tennessee’s Governor Bill Lee established a Day of Prayer for Tennessee, and part of World Outreach Church’s prayer has been that every state would follow suit. Now, with the call for national prayer issued by President Trump, the church is extending an invitation for congregations across the nation to join them, along with the My Faith Votes organization, in praying for faith over fear and God’s intervention in the spread of COVID-19.
