APSP Chairman of The Board Hosts Book Signing During International Pool Spa Patio Conference

WHAT: 
The International Pool Spa Patio Expo is the must-attend event of the pool, spa and outdoor living industry. The expo provides opportunities for industry professionals to learn about the latest trends, market directions and cutting-edge technology. This year’s event boasts over 45 well-respected speakers, including Jack Manilla, who will be on hand to discuss hot topics in the residential and commercial pool, spa and outdoor living industries as well as sign copies of his new book, Secrets of The Pink House.

WHO: 
Jack Manilla is an APSP fellow and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Additionally, he is the owner and president of Portofino Pool Services and Outdoor Living and author ofSecrets of The Pink House. Over his career, Manilla has successfully overseen several multi-million dollar businesses and two Fortune 500 companies. The Jacksonville pool expert also created the FSPA 60-hour pool service contractor course. His new book shares his personal journey and how it led him into the pool business.

DETAILS: 
Chairman of the APSP Board Jack Manilla will be available to meet with expo attendees at the APSP booth. In addition, Manilla will have copies of his book available for purchase. As part of his efforts to support local organizations making a positive impact in the community through pool safety, Manilla will donate a portion of the proceeds from every book sold to the YMCA’s drowning prevention program.

On Nov. 2, Manilla will be sharing his personal journey and tips of finding peace and success during the morning prayer breakfast and provide his expertise on how the pool industry is assisting in disaster relief since Hurricane Irma, disaster prevention and safety. Manilla will be joined on the panel by Senior Vice President at Arrow Insurance Service Raymond Arouesty; NC Brands Recreational Water Specialist Terry Arko; Florida Department of Health Environmental Administrator Bob Vincent; and Editor-In-Chief at Pool & Spa News and Aquatics International Magazine Joanne McClain.
