Account Coordinator

Dallas-based A. Larry Ross Communications (ALRC), one of the country’s leading public relations boutique agencies partnering with faith-based ministries and humanitarian causes, is seeking a passionate public relations Agency professional to join our growing team. 

Account Coordinator candidates will have excitement for providing media relations and creative public relations strategic solutions to faith-based clients on a national level. We look for staff that has exceptional client service skills and approach every task with innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist the Account Services team with earned media relations and public relations for a variety of clients.

  • Support the Account Services team to provide visibility, media relations, media engagement and creative public relations solutions for clients on a national level.

  • Secure ongoing public exposure for clients by proactively pitching stories, developing creative, successful strategies and assisting with the ongoing brand awareness and storytelling of Agency clients.

  • Support the varied and high demands of day-to-day public relations activities and projects for a variety of clients.

  • Work with the Account Services team members in the development of strategy development and successful campaign engagement and execution for clients.

  • Conduct research and strategic planning for client projects.

  • Interface with clients on behalf of the Agency on a regular basis.

  • Work with the Account Services team to ensure clients' stability, growth and prosperity.

  • Monitor the publicity generated for clients and regularly communicate and update clients on media activities.

  • Develop and write communication materials for clients and for ALRC.

  • Maintain topical files and remain consistently current on news and trends.

  • Handle assorted miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned by Agency leadership and driven by the current business climate.

Experience and expertise should include the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in public relations, communications, journalism or similar field.

  • 3 to 6 months of experience supporting clients in an agency environment, news-related media environment or in an institutional public relations/communications environment.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of public relations and media relations.

  • Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve client goals.
