Content Specialist
A. Larry Ross Communications (ALRC), one of the country's leading communications agencies in the area of public relations for faith-based organizations, is seeking a Content Specialist to join our creative account services team.
ALRC is an award-winning boutique public relations firm specializing in assisting nationally known thought leaders, organizations and companies in communicating their unique faith-based messages using paid, earned, shared and owned media platforms. We are seeking a gifted writing professional who can lead the development of the strategic content needs for both our clients and our Agency brand. The successful candidate should be passionate, possess a high degree of integrity and confidence, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
ALRC has an immediate need for a talented writer and content creator who can add significant value to our Agency in refining and advancing our clients’ visions and missions through creative, persuasive and compelling written materials.
In collaboration with account team members, content creation for our Agency clients includes developing, editing, writing and managing various communication projects to expand our clients’ voices and brands using a variety of media platforms. This individual will help plan, strategize, and analyze content while producing a wide variety of written pieces, including but not limited to news releases, op-eds, blog posts, marketing materials, business proposals and crisis messaging. The ideal team member will create editorial calendars and written guidelines for client work, as well as determine sources and appropriate media platforms for content creation and distribution.
Our Content Specialist is expected to strategize and manage client writing projects and the extension of our ALRC brand voice across all earned and digital platforms. This individual will also create blog posts and communication materials for our Agency, maintaining and elevating our overall brand, tone and content execution.
The successful candidate should possess a depth of writing knowledge and expertise that encompasses both technical and creative competencies, a strong attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.

Preferred background includes the following:
40-hour a week exempt position
Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, advertising, English, and/or communications
One to five years of relevant work experience in a writing capacity ideally working in an Agency, public relations or marketing department
Past experience primarily producing content for earned and shared media
Past experience developing content that builds audiences through a wide variety of media platforms
