Social Media Coordinator
Dallas-based A. Larry Ross Communications (ALRC), one of the country’s leading public relations boutique agencies partnering with faith-based ministries and humanitarian causes, is seeking to add a new team member to its social media/digital division.
Social Media Coordinator candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Public Relations, Journalism or a related creative field. Prior relevant internship, design and social media experience is a requirement.
The successful Social Media Coordinator must have a current and thorough knowledge of social media platforms, opportunities and capabilities. This person will be responsible for continually collaborating with colleagues to develop strategic campaigns and post messaging, news and information about clients to relevant social media networks. This person will also assist with internal Agency social media sites.
The staff at ALRC is actively involved in day-to-day client services including all areas of public relations in both the traditional and digital spaces on behalf of a national client base. Graphic design experience using design products such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator for posts and promotions
Creativity as it relates to content design
Ability to work both efficiently and effectively
Ability to manage shifting priorities, challenging clients and short deadlines
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and enthusiasm toward learning and contributing on a daily basis
Strategic thinking necessary to track, form and report conclusions from social media analytics
Ability to create content that matches each client’s branding and voice
Knowledge of social media best practices and tools for posting and analyzing across each platform
Awareness of trends and keywords to incorporate into hashtag optimization
