Account Executive

Dallas-based A. Larry Ross Communications, one of the country’s leading public relations firms in the area of faith-based ministries and humanitarian causes, is seeking a passionate professional to join our growing team.

Successful candidates should enjoy providing visibility, media relations and creative strategic solutions to clients on a national level. Account Executive responsibilities include account oversight, strategy development, writing and media pitching. Key responsibilities will include ensuring the stability, growth and success of clients by seeing that a consistent high level of strategic support and quality is provided to them. Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects.

Candidates should have demonstrated expertise and knowledge in the communications arena and a minimum 5-7 years prior experience in communications, journalism, public relations or client services.  Candidates should also have a familiarity or experience with cause-oriented, faith-based or humanitarian organizations and expertise and experience interfacing and executing with traditional media, new media and social media.

Our account staff is actively involved in day-to-day client services including public relations plans, tactics and strategy, writing news releases and pitching stories to the national faith-based and secular media on behalf of our clients. A bachelor’s degree in public relations, English, Communications, Journalism or a related field is preferred.

We look for motivated individuals that have exceptional relational skills and approach every task with innovation, creativity and a sense of urgency. All candidates should have a solid writing background.
